The Center's Strategic Solutions Series to be Offered 8-9 December in Conjunction with IAEE's Annual Meeting

 

DALLAS, 29 September 2010 – The International Center for Exhibitor and Event Marketing (The Center) Strategic Solutions Series is being offered in conjunction with Expo! Expo! IAEE's Annual Meeting & Exhibition specifically to meet the needs of exhibit managers, event marketers and corporate brand managers.

 

Through this collaborative and open forum, industry professionals will gather at one time to share ideas, pose questions and find answers – FACE-TO-FACE. This event promises to be a truly unique experience for this niche in the exhibitions and events industry, and it will address key strategic issues and provide tangible outcomes for attendees to use when they return to their daily lives.

Straight from the Expo! Expo! show floor – studies have shown that people remember an experience long after they have forgotten the details. Booth hardware is brought to life when you add the experience. Now is your chance to learn the rules. During this workshop you will learn how to ensure that your display meets the challenge of the three zones of interest. During the expo-tour attendees will see examples of: the effective use of color, how traffic barriers block interactivity, the proper placement of product, how and where to use booth lighting, the power of creating an experience, the inclusion of the "WOW" factor, hints for maximizing a limited show budget, creating powerful signs and graphics, determining booth location and having the display "walk the talk."

This session will define the frugal exhibitor for the future by understanding what an event costs and how to use measurement tools to justify those costs. Areas of examination include: shipping/material handling, drayage, POV's (privately owned vehicles), exhibiting costs, etc. and how they are managed. Attendees will learn how to deliver high return with a shrinking budget.

Attendees will understand the full cycle of an event to create synergies among all marketing strategies and effectively engage the media to generate participants.

Expo! Expo! Media Policy

IAEE has developed the following policy for all media publications in relation to Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition. Additional considerations for publication distribution at IAEE meetings will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 

 

Press Passes

IAEE will provide two (2) complimentary full meeting press passes per publication to editorial-focused professionals (writers, reporters, photojournalists). In order to obtain and use these passes, members of the media must agree to:

  • Request a press pass by 1 November.

  • Use the complimentary registration code for registration when registration opens.

  • Be present onsite at the press luncheon.

 

NOTE: Any member of the media who is not present, but received a press pass, will be invoiced for the full registration cost.
